Biography of Shaykh Abdul Ahad Salman

Abdul Ahad Salman is a Hafiz (memorizer of the Quran), Maulana (Islamic scholar), lyricist, composer, editor, and organizer. He is the Founder and Secretary-General of the Chamber of Commerce Portugal-Bangladesh. He is the Chairman of Ruhani Group Bangladesh, Royal Residence Limited, and DeshalBD.com, and the Executive Director of Green Khidmah Properties Limited and Gondhoraj Limited.

Abdul Ahad Salman is the Editor and Publisher of the online news portal EuroBangla24.com. He is the Founder and Chief Director of the national cultural organization Anuprakash. He is the Central Vice-President of the Islami Sangskritik Jote (Islamic Cultural Alliance) and the Founder Secretary of the Allama Abdur Razzaq (Rah.) Foundation.

Birth: 24th Safar, 1407 Hijri, 27th October 1986, Wednesday.

Family: Abdul Ahad Salman was born into a traditional, respected Muslim family in Dhumshadda village of Baligaon Union under Feni Sadar Upazila. His father is the knowledgeable scholar and Shaykhul Hadith Hazrat Maulana Shah Abdul Awwal (Rah.), and his mother is Halima Masuda. His grandfather was Allama Shah Abdur Razzaq (Rah.), the founder of Dhumshadda Rashidia Madrasah, a traditional educational institution in Feni. Abdul Ahad Salman’s maternal grandfather was Mujahide Millat Allama Abdul Mannan (Rah.), the founder of Nurul Uloom Bhadadia Madrasah in Sonagazi Upazila of Feni.

Education: Abdul Ahad Salman’s first school was Feni Dhumshadda Rashidia Islamia Madrasah. After that, he studied at Jamia Arabia Khademul Islam Madrasah in Mirpur 13, Dhaka; Jamia Hossainia Islamia Arjabad in Mirpur 1, Dhaka; and finally, in 2007-08, he completed his Takmil (Masters) from Jamia Arabia Imdadul Uloom Faridabad, a renowned ancient institution in Dhaka.

Organizational Life: Abdul Ahad Salman involved himself in cultural and political activities. As a student, he worked as a writer, poet, and lyricist and composer of Islamic songs. He has two solo albums of Islamic songs. He also serves as the Founder and Chief Director of the national cultural organization Anuprakash. Most recently, he served as the Central Vice-President of the Islami Sangskritik Jote (Islamic Cultural Alliance) and the Central Human Rights Secretary of the Islami Jubo Andolan (Islamic Youth Movement). Besides, he has worked regularly in radio, television, and various other media. He also served as the Country Director for the international cultural organization Aks For Gain.

Professional Life: In 2008, Abdul Ahad Salman joined Samadhan Dakhil Madrasah in Sharir Akhra, Dhaka, as a teacher. In 2010, he started his first business venture from Baitul Abed Bhaban (5th floor) in Purana Paltan. He is the Chairman of Ruhani Group Bangladesh, Royal Residence Limited, and DeshalBD.com. He is also the Executive Director of Green Khidmah Properties Limited and Gondhoraj Limited. Currently residing in Lisbon, the capital of Portugal, Europe, he manages multiple business establishments. He is the Chairman and CEO of Cox Mart Unipessoal Lda., Partner and CEO of Cardinal Esbelto Lda, CEO of Landmark Property Europe, Director of Cardinal Language School, and the Founder Principal of An-Noor International Institute. Simultaneously, Abdul Ahad Salman is also working as the Editor and Publisher of the online news portal ‘EuroBangla24.com’.
